Interfaith wedding

How common is interfaith wedding in Goa (especially Hindu Muslim) ? Is it safe ? We want to do it as per both the religion. Can we just book a venue (on/by the beach) for 2 days instead of choosing to live on the property? Really appreciate if someone can give some insights.
