Why are the West Delhi aunties obsessed with leather pants/leggings?

I came back to Delhi after a while and i went to explore around with my friends just like old times and i noticed this trend in the past week. Aunties in West Delhi are legit obsessed with leather pants, I see majority of aunties wearing that in Pacific Mall Subash Nagar. I went to Rajouri Garden and the trend continued there. The Rajouri Garden market and even the restaurants/lounge there are filled with aunties wearing that. I went to Punjabi Bagh multiple times during day as well as night time and noticed the same thing. While driving on club road, noticed so many aunties wearing the same thing. I even see them wearing that in every market, local shops. I've not seen this in South, East or North Delhi. Just West Delhi majorly. Is that some sort of a dress code for Punjabi aunties? Why are so many aunties obsessed with those pants and leggings? It's just quite weird that so many people wear a similar clothing item lol. Have you noticed the same?
