How safe is it to travel from Dehradun to Rishikesh for a female on a scooty ?

I am planning to visit in a few days and wanted to know how safe is it for a female travelling on a scooty ? I go to mussoorie and stuff all the time but it will be a first to go to rishikesh alone on my scooty . I will be going in the morning and coming back by afternoon . I have the necessary precautionary stuff like pepper spray , alarm etc but still .
