If any two of the top 4 in World Cup 2025 is already qualified/ineligible/withdraws, then a spot will go to 2nd place in FIDE Circuit 2024. Same is the case with Grand Swiss. If 2 of the top 3 are already qualified or ineligible, then too a spot will go to 2nd place in FIDE Circuit 2024. These are two scenarios where Arjun automatically qualifies without doing anything in 2025. Considering Gukesh & Caruana are the best classical players rn, it also seems like a scenario with some chance of materializing.
