Dostoevsky's books - Should I prefer Tamil translation or English translation?

Vanakkam all, Not sure where to ask this, so proceeding to ask here. I am planning to visit Book Fair today and I am looking to buy White Nights/ The Brothers Karamazov/ Crime and Punishment. Since this is a Russian novel, I am confused to what translation to go with. To give much more limelight on how good my English reading is, you can assume I'm not quite good in getting hang of classic novels. I was able to manage with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's novels, Harry Potter books, etc. but couldn't even understand the second chapter of 'A Tale of Two Cities'. It'd better if someone can shed a light on it, on which translation is better? Why? If it's English, is the prose quite manageable? Thanks in advance.
