Chandigarh Police

Non-resident chandigarhi here, i was curious to know the perception of chandigarh police being strict enforcer of laws and regulated. Also, they don't give a damn whether you are MLA or bigshot, them being themselves deals everyone sternly. so the typical attitude of north "tu janta hai mera baap kon hai" supposedly doesn't work here. Yesterday, only i heard in news ravneet singh bittu incident where his personal security officer(PSO) was mistreated(allegedly) by chandigarh police. Right or wrong, i am not elaborating on that, but what intrigues me is indifferent attitude of police toward VVIPs and VIPs. Almost up the North knows not to mess with them and follow rules strictly.
