Am I fair minded or Stupid?

So today as it was raining and I had to go to college I took a cab for ₹198, Fast forward to after reaching my college app showed me and the driver ₹132. But because he had accepted 198 so I paid him 198. I asked my friends they said I should have paid 132 only OR negotiated to lower price.
