Why they had to ruin the "next season" everytime?

I started watching bandish bandits season 1during lockdown with low expectations but it turned out to be amazing something like this never happened in series, stories emotion were on point. But I finished watching season 2 yesterday the direction and story are very basic same old band compitition, they didn't not offer anything else. I think they wrote it because they had to write it nothing else, only saving grace is music. If you haven't watched bandish bandits go and watch season 1 and skip seasons 2. What is your opinion??
