This happened on bangalore footpath

So bikers going on the wrong side of the road was not enough that this incident happened to me today. I was walking on the footpath calmly near marathalli, then a biker came from behind and started honking. I couldn't listen at first as I had my earphones on but then he came very close and started shouting at me saying move aside I have to go and he was not the only one I turned around and there were a dozen of them atleast on the footpath. Why do people in India lack so much civic sense? Footpath is for walking and not for your honking bike. If the road is crowded, just wait for the traffic to be cleared. Over that he is barking as if the footpath is his father's property. I told him if he wants to ride a bike move it on road but apparently he doesn't have time. The potholes are not just on the roads but also in people's minds.Years of school education gone down the sewer. What do you guys would have done in such a situation?
