Rise of Transgender extortion gangs in Bangalore

My father recently opened a shop in Bangalore and these transgender people came on the inauguration day asking for money. My father gave them money that day. But ever since then, they keep coming in rotation demanding for money everyday. It’s been almost a month now. They even at times tried to enter the shop forcefully and pick up items and leave, under the disguise of giving blessings. Now my father does not tolerate them anymore and I hope they stop coming. What can we do here? It seems they’re a group of 4-6 people. Edit: The people around us who are Bangalore natives told us that the police won’t do anything which is why I was asking for alternative solutions. Otherwise will just have to wait and watch. It’s a culture shock for us because back in our hometown they don’t come everyday asking for money. Only on very special days.
