Why Does Living Here Feel So Difficult?

I’ve been reflecting on some struggles I face daily, and I’d genuinely like to hear your thoughts. Every day feels like a battle, and it’s draining to deal with the constant challenges around us. Public spaces are chaotic—reckless driving, litter everywhere, and zero civic sense. Hygiene seems to be nobody’s priority, and scams feel like the norm rather than the exception. For people like me, belonging to a lower-middle-class Muslim family, these challenges feel compounded. Opportunities are denied, housing is refused, and sometimes you’re treated differently just because of your name or identity. It’s disheartening, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s a way to move forward. Everything around us feels divided, and religious lines seem to dictate so much of public discourse. Meanwhile, infrastructure, education, and healthcare are often neglected. I’d love to know—how do you find hope or navigate these challenges?
