Scammed by Jodhpuri Furniture HSR
Story: I visited jodhpuri furniture shop in hsr on december and placed an order for a bed, with the assurance that it would be delivered within 10 days. The total cost was ₹30,000. I made the payment in two parts: ₹15,000 was transferred via UPI to the sales representative Nabin’s personal number because the shop didn’t have a QR code, and the remaining ₹15,000 was paid via credit card After 10 days, the bed wasn’t delivered. I called the shop, and every single time, the sales representative Nabin assured me it would arrive in "1-2 days." However, even after a month, the bed is still not delivered. When I confronted the shop, they denied receiving the ₹15,000 that I had transferred to Nabin's personal number and are refusing to deliver the bed. And that store manager nabin has took all the money and absconded and current team in shop is saying you have been scamed by him. Estimated time also they're saying it Can be week month or few months They also shared police complaint with me and saying police has instructed not to deliver any items to customers What should I do next? All other branches including this hsr branch are taking new orders and might be delivering them. Only customers who are scammed by this guy they are not delivering the orders. Questions: Should I go legal or police ? Ideally shop should not work . Why different rules for different customers when shop is responsible for their employee who did scam If I go legal what would be the cost Edit : I have payment recipet for full amount 30000 in hard copy.1
