Can someone clear a doubt

I have taken a education loan to finish my engineering studies , but I have lost the fee receipt for the third year , I have recieved all disbursement for all year , but now I'm supposed to sumit the few reciept for the third year , for the rest of the year I have orginal receipts, what will happen if I submit a fake receipt for the third year , will they verify it , or will there be any huge consequences?
