How are measurements expressed in Assamese?

Hello! I’ve been doing a bit of research on Assamese but was curious about how exactly measurements work. From what I understand, Assamese uses classifiers when counting things, so unlike in English when you say “three books” you say something like “tini-khan kitap” where the “khan” acts as a classifier and its different for different nouns. What I’m most curious about is if this process also occurs when you’re measuring something. So if you wanted to talk about a kilo of something or a liter of something, would you go about it in the same way by adding a classifier suffix or is there a different method?
