What is the dumbest thing you did out of love?

i was in my 8th std when there was a sales day in my school and my mom’s birthday was nearing. my mom loves plants so i brought a beautiful rose plant home. i didn’t want my mom to see it so i locked the plant in my cupboard and after days when i opened it for gifting my mom, it was withered. my dumb mind didn’t know that plants needed sun and water, all i wanted was to surprise my mom. drop yours!!
