Should I marry someone who hit me

I, 25F am about to get married to this guy (26M) who I dated for 5 years. He’s a doctor who’s doing his residency. I’m a doctor too. Our families have accepted each other too. 1) He has hit me 7/8 times in our relationship 2) I broke up with him for around 6 months and we got back as he has promised me that he has changed and won’t hit me again. 3) I am too attached to him but I still have this fear in mind that what if it happens again 4) I feel like I won’t find someone else who’s as loyal as him and who loves me as he does (our relationship is perfect except for this hitting part) 5) He has apologised a thousand times for it and has promised me it won’t happen again Please help me
