Dark skin and tall girls (1.72m <)

In India I realised that dark skin girls are in a disadvantage cause the conventional beauty standards prize women for their fair skin, and for men is when they are tall. But what if the women has dark skin, tall and has good features and figure? Is the height a disadvantage or an advantage, considering the height difference and height preference?? What is your opinions of dark skin girls and would dark skin girls what were some of the comments you have had to endure because of your colour?
