Are Indians really getting short ?

I see a lot of [article](https://scroll.in/article/1006468/around-the-world-people-are-getting-taller-so-why-are-indian-heights-on-the-decline) saying Indians are getting short but everyone irl I have noticed all GenZ are taller than their parents , my father is 5.5 I am 5.9 and I feel average heighted . How this height shortening thing is true ?
