Hypothetically.. would you marry someone whom you know but never saw them in that perspective?

2 college friends of mine are getting married.. Now the thing is they weren't really lovers during college..they got involved in an arranged marriage setup and are getting married... Would you be able marry someone whom you have known a while but never saw him/her in that aspect? Isnt it a bit creepy? Edit: the previous post got deleted..so had to change the title.
