What’s cool for a 13 year old girl?

Hi everyone, I have a 13 year old cousin who lives in India who I would like to buy a nice birthday gift for. For context, I was born and raised in the United States and don’t know much about what is trendy and cool for preteens in India. I know she has been getting bullied, and I wanted to gift her something that could help her confidence. As much as I love to offer moral support, it feels very limited unfortunately. I would love some advice for what a thoughtful gift could be. I was thinking a handbag of some kind, but I am not sure that would translate very well for a 13 year old.
