Need your help on what should I do

I (21m) attended a mandatory training session last year in the month of november, there i met this girl(20) and we had some common interests so we talked a little here and there during the training, then we did not talk at all until last month where she wished me for my birthday, and I kind of liked her a little during the training days, So a few days later I texted her and we started talking, Today we are meeting (for the first time just the two of us) and she doesnt have the slightest hint that i like her, we are meeting at a nice cafe, i need your advice on how to take things forward, should i take some flowers with me and if yes what is it that she can possibly ask about flowers in a negative way (if she does not like it or feels awk that i got flowers and its not even a date etc etc) and how can I cover it up. Please help me
