Fog situation around Taj Mahal in last week Jan

Planning to do a day trip towards end of January from Noida to Agra to see Taj Mahal. Planning to reach there by sunrise, as recommended by many folks, to avoid crowds and see the Taj in golden light. What's the possibility of not getting to see the Taj due to thick fog? Don't mind waiting around few hours for the sun to burn some of the fog. But is there any possibility of the fog not thinning out even after the sun is out?
