Is it okay to finetune an LLM using pirated pdf of any book?

I'm working on a project to fine-tune an LLM using NCERT books and other authors' works. Do I need to get the authors' permission for this? If yes, it might be expensive. I do have pirated copies, but if I use them and get caught, would that count as copyright infringement?

Can anyone explain in details how,when hall and room will be allocated in second year ? Like in first year there were only 1,1 hostel for boys and girls. We got chance to choose roommates. What will happen in second year? Would be nice if u mention about your own hall in details.

So sad to see the aftermath of a hailstorm

It was fun while it lasted, but was it really worth it? The storm hit at the worst possible time, literally taking away so many old plants on campus. Felt really sad seeing old trees fall everywhere. Many trees don’t even have leaves to protect them. Seems like no one bothers much because of exams!

G-Secs from SF/KTJ.....why?

Almost everything about the gymkhana elections makes sense, expect this. Why the SoCult and Tech gsecs are from SF/KTJ. I dont understand this thing. The roles of gsecs revolve around GC, Inter IIT and other new initiatives, so where does fest come into this. I understand that the gsecs will also get to be in the position of executive heads, but is it written somewhere that gsec should be from the fest committees. (Specifically for socult) Isn't someone who's been to Inter IIT and actually involved in the art...

How can i book SAM Guest house?

My relative is coming for a day or 2 and i want to get a room booked for him. TGH charges are really high. Heard that SAM charges are low. Please tell me the procedure for booking. And also i saw a notice on iit kgp site for booking a room in sbp1/2 or abv which charges only rs250. They haven't mentioned whether that notice is for the students coming for attending the fest or in general forever.
