Rather than relying on unreliable fibre cables routed over poles which can break, we use radio/microwave antennas on each roof. A ubiquiti lite beam antennas can handle 200km/h winds and 15km range. We equip each building with these and create a mesh network that links back to the isp link which goes to the IXP. We could also directly go to IXP but then the closest IXP is in pune.
