Dealing with a Reckless Driver in the Family: Seeking Perspectives

My brother-in-law lives in another city and is a reckless driver, I try to avoid traveling in his car whenever possible. However, there are situations where it becomes unavoidable. His typical driving style includes cutting lanes at high speed, overtaking dangerously getting very close tailgating other vehicles, driving rashly on busy roads so on . Recently, we were in the car with the entire family, and when I asked him to drive more carefully for everyone's safety, he got offended and retorted, "Tumhari hi fat ti hai, koi aur...

    Gurugram’s wildest hangout

The "Leopard Trail," once a peaceful part of the Aravalli hills, has become a hotspot for partying thanks to a new road. This has led to a surge of cafes, resorts, and other businesses catering to weekend crowds. These businesses promote the "greenery and tranquillity" of the area, they're damaging it. **The authorities are taking action.** They face demolition if cafe owners can prove they have permission to operate on that land. This crackdown addresses a larger issue: *the gradual encroachment on the Aravalli forests disguised as tourism development.*...

    Mandarin learners' community in Bangalore

Hi all fellow Chinese learners. Wanted to know what are some activities/meetups going on for Chinese learners in Bangalore. Is there something like Alliance Française or Goethe institut here? Any meetups that happen regularly? I would like to join (Hsk-3, simplified). If not, can we try to make one? Want to know how your learning is going on, how are you giving certification exams, practicing irl, what dialect, what apps, what books etc, lots of questions. Waiting to hear great responses.

ApplePay no longer works on macOS

This has been my situation for the past few months. It makes it through "processing" but never asks for the TouchID fingerprint step and just sits there doing nothing. TouchID works to unlock the computer and for anything else that the OS asks for which uses fingerprint recognition. Just not ApplePay. Apple M1 Max Sequoia 15.1.1 https://i.redd.it/zbivysksdx6e1.gif

    XRP's seems to be garbage

\- XRP is premined. \- Ripple holds **2%** of the current minted xrp \- Ripple has full control over the remaining 50 billion xrp to be released which is approx **50%** of total supply. \- It is a hyper **centralized** coin. It is basically highly dependent on Ripple's success. \- The XRP supply seems to be in the hands of a group of bag holders who have not seen an ATH **since 2017!** **-** Without even talking about its usecase, it seems to have real competitors that have **more...

non technical founder, need guidance on asking the right questions (and setting expectations) before hiring an SEO consultant

Hi everyone, as the title says, I am a non technical founder of a wellness brand. this year (2024) we haven't really done anything around marketing/advertising etc, and as such, our domain authority is quite low (single digits) and we get 0 organic traffic according to ahrefs (which is also true). I have been totally focused on testing and validating my product in the market this year. next year, i intend to go a lot harder on marketing activities, and i realize that SEO is an important aspect of...
