    Korinek Trades: the artist scammer

    # Warning: Trading Scammer Alert I want to share my concerns about a trading service run by an individual who exhibits behaviours commonly associated with scams. Having been in his X paid group and monitoring their activity for almost a year, I’ve identified several red flags that prospective members should be aware of: 1. Suspicious Follower Base His X private page (KTprivate) associated with this service claims to have over 1,000 followers. However, the level of engagement on their posts—such as likes and comments—appears unusually low for an account...

Christmas cools down the blood and clears the brain

First time in the year I took some time off after developing and launching my product and having extensive business travels for sales and opportunities the last two months. I need this recharge for the next push of my project. Funny thing is, I identified the different types in my Family & Friends during the Christmas days: - the Believeres: they know that you will succeed, doesnt matter how hard or slow it may seem - the Criticizers: your idea sucks, you are wasting your time - the Skepticizsers:...

Network (sometimes) broken via VLAN interface

Using a VLAN (less than 100) interface created via Settings (standard settings, MTU, using DHCP, etc) and trying to connect to a service via TCP, it times out, sometimes. When looking in Wireshark I see a bunch of TCP duplicate ACKs and retransmissions. The handshake looks good. It’s only when accessing a network routed close (2 routers), but websites on the internet seem to work fine. I tried to disable all other interfaces, same issue. But when I changed the switch port to use untagged traffic on the same...

    Safari allowing notifications without permission

A few minutes ago, a notification popped up from [youtube.com](http://youtube.com) on my mac. This hasn't happened before, and I haven't used YouTube since yesterday. I'm 99% sure I didn't accidentally allow notifications from them, since the notification pop-up is very noticeable and I never click allow before reading pop-ups. When I went into the notification section on my Mac to turn it off, I noticed about a dozen websites, most of which are advertisement and survey websites had notifications enabled. I know for a fact that I have never...

Wireless Gaming Headphones for OS X 15???

Are there any really good wireless gaming headphones that work with Sequoia seamlessly? I have been scouring the web and I havent found a solid answer. So many devices list game consoles and Windows compatability, but no Mac. And lots of discussions of headphones for Mac mention specific headphones but are either a) out of date or b) followed by others citing problems. I just want a really nice (\~$200) gaming headphone that'll just work easily and consistently with my M4 Mac Mini. FWIW I am planning of streaming...

2 wheeler taken by the traffic police

Me and friends went out for dinner on 2 scooties. We just had one can of beer. While coming back home, the cops stopped us and asked to blow in the meter. My friend’s reading recorded at 154/100 ml of alcohol and my reading was 31/100 ml. How is it possible that we all had same amount of alcohol but the meter recorded different readings? Also, they gave the receipt and took the vehicle to the police station. He is asked to come tomorrow to take the vehicle back....

Startup Christmas - Pain Point Giveaway

To celebrate the holidays in a startup fashion, I thought it would be fun to giveaway the most coveted startup currency for aspiring founders: pain points. I will start it off, and feel free to DM me if you have ideas that can *directly* and *clearly* solve them. Coding: 1. Code like me - The most frustrating part of a lot of AI tools I use, like Cursor, is that it’s good at generating code, but that code often doesn’t feel like, work like, or structure itself like my...
