They can't be personalised or even basic shortened. So here's a suggestion to any budding developers looking to make something, make this! Make a plugin/add-in for the Microsoft cloud that makes it possible to shorten, personalise and track file share URLs. Even if the tracking is done by piggy backing off Google Analytics.
