Fighting NEP is the laziest way to save Tamil We often complain about the National Education Policy (NEP), but we fail to recognize that Tamil has deteriorated significantly due to poor education and the effects of Westernization. The situation has worsened to the extent that even government gazettes and street names contain spelling and grammatical errors. Most of our generation, especially Gen Z, struggles to read and write proper Tamil. Many of us can read the language but lack proficiency in writing because we have no practice. I believe we primarily learn languages for economic opportunities, but in... 1 0 replies
Anyone interested in learning more about my market beating trading strategy? I have been developing a a straightforward quant trading strategy focusing on mean reversion, that I would like to share. The strategy focuses on trading stocks from the S&P 500. If you’re interested, you’re welcome to join and paper/demo trade my signals for a month (or two) to see their effectiveness. The strategy is simple enough to follow and understand. I have posted a screen shot of its performance. Do let me know if you’re interested and I can share a link where you can join the alerts. https://preview.redd.it/tu1zwvx2kkke1.png?width=991&format=png&auto=webp&s=b2c4958f5e0aa9c6eb87a1c5bc20369077a52af3... 4 0 replies

Who else peaked in life at around 15? I had a head full of hair, was athletic, had a good group of friends and plenty of naive dreams about the future. Heck, I even had a girl ask me out once. Great, right? Fast forward to now I'm 29, bald, look like a cancer patient. 0 qualifications or skills. Clinically diagnosed mental illness. Been fired from every single job out of sheer incompetence or due to social ineptitude in general. Can't talk to people or relate to their interests/problems at all. Still living with my parents who... 2 14 replies

So 18(F) here, I’ve grown up in a mildly religious home (mother is more into it than father). i believed in religion when i was young but when i was 8 i was very scared of ghosts, i would always have trouble sleeping at night, so one day im talking to my father about it and he says ghosts aren’t real then i said if good exists then so does bad, so if god exists then probably ghosts exist as well.. then he looked at me and said who... 4 0 replies

Reflection on this week’s trading GBP/USD So pretty solid week trading this pair. Made £9k and implemented some changes to my overall strategy for better risk mitigation, particularly to this increasingly volatile pair, plus the potential for Trump to post something wild. A couple of key insights; * MACD is the single strongest indicator for this pair * I need to be reviewing all trades at the 5m, 15m, 30m and 1hr time frames. 30 mins seems to be overall most reflective of short term trends * I switched brokers from T212 to IC markets.... 3 0 replies

Where can I read Tamilnadan’s story Jiguba ? I highly doubt Enthiran plagiarised from just a short story, but it is alarming that Shankar's property are being seized based on a story that is not even available on the internet 4 0 replies
We are not Tamil Nadu. We NEED hindi. It's good that we've always adopted the three language policy. It's always advantageous to know Hindi. Loads of people from Andhra Pradesh study in national institutes, especially IITs and NITs. I have seen Telugu students studying across the country. It's very important you know atleast a little hindi if not completely fluent. Tamil Nadu is a lot more self sufficient than us. I've never seen tamil students studying outside of their state. The ones that do, are mostly from Chennai and know atleast a little hindi. Hundreds and thousands of Andhra people are travelling to Karnataka, kolkata, pune, gurgaon... 1 23 replies
