Trying to upgrade a MacPro16,1 I've ended up with an old 2013 "Dustbin" MacPro which has Mavericks on it and I was wanting to update it to Monterey, I've got bootable media created and it won't let me install it as it says that the third party SSD in it is "not compatible". If I try formatting it as APFS then it instead tells me that it needs a firmware update before the computer can recognise APFS. Is there any way I can get this to upgrade? 3 1 replies

MacDroid - Can't transfer files to my Samsung Galaxy A55 Hi guys, Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong to get this error message when dragging and dropping files into my music folder on my phone? This happened with my older android phone too, but worked fine on my S21 FE, I've enabled USB Debugging in developer options, my phone is only visible when I change it to USB tethering instead of transferring files/android auto. Any reason not to delete my Music folder after copying to an external drive? I don't use the Music app, don't listen to music files on my Mac anymore, and my Music folder is around 150gb. So I'm thinking of copying it to an external drive (just in case I want to use those music files in the future, and then deleting the Music folder on my internal/startup drive. Any reason not to do that, or is there a better way to remove and archive the files? I assume if I launch the Music app again, it will create a new Music folder... 1 2 replies
