USB-C hub (bus-powered) doesn't work after Mac mini reboots After I unplug it and plug it back into the Mac, the various devices that are plugged into the hub are suddenly seen by macOS and they all work perfectly fine until the next reboot. I have a Samsung SSD plugged into it, and a couple of dongles (for a 3rd party wireless keyboard and a trackball). Like I said, these devices function great for days, weeks, etc. until I reboot. Why does Time Machine take hours to back up even when used monthly? I use a 2015 Macbook Pro (250GB SSD) and have about \~100GB in stored data. Every month, I run a Time Machine backup and literally it takes hours. On my 2017 Macbook Air with the same amount of data (\~100GB) on a 125GB SSD and it just takes a few minutes for a Time Machine backup. What am I doing wrong? 3 10 replies
