Goans please speak in your local language Thousands of years of effort would have gone in developing a language. Presence of people from other states should not result in the death of any language. Konkani sounds so sweet. At least when Goans talk to each other they should use Konkani. I am myself not a Goan. But I found it easy to learn. People from outside Goa staying here should make the effort. Start with basic pleasantries. Gradually you will build fluency. 5 0 replies
Suggest MFs for 50 lacs lumpsum for long term Hi, I am looking to invest lumpsum around Rs. 50 lacs in MFs with a long term horizon (10+ yrs). Please suggest which specific MFs to invest in? My current portfolio: My present investment is 38 lacs invested directly in stocks (most of it invested in last 2 months), which is showing minus 4.5% returns. (I am not bothered... 1 0 replies
Wow, Tamils are really going at it. Native NE leadership should learn from them honestly. In present days, we can't achieve much with mere brute force. Just look at Tamils, their movement didn't involve violent armed rebellion against the centre. It was an intellectual covert warfare and now their movement is spreading over other states as well. They have been consistently winning. So NE leadership must realise the... 2 0 replies
