Ignorant Mainlander's questions about Assam(CONTROVERSIAL and SORRY)?

Hi,this is a throwaway account.I am an ignorant Mainlander(or Bongal/Dkhar/Mayang/Haring/Vai/Oppressor/Colonist/Indian or whatever) from South India.I am currently reading about the insurgencies in the North-East(read through Sanjib Baruah's last volume,Longkumer and Sethji and Shubharastra) and asked people from this region online. I always wondered one thing,why do the Assamese have such strong separatist sentiments(i have noticed that many Assamese people are far more racist against Mainlanders compared to groups like Nagas).I can see why groups like Zos,Nagas,Khasis and Meiteis have such sentiments(honestly,i think these regions would have been better off...

Office is not giving off for Delhi elections.

According to the directions of Harayana government all companies have to give day off to all employees residing in Delhi. But my office has denied it and is calling us to office. Resources to learn Mizo

I would be going to Mizoram in the next 5 years. So it would be nice if I could learn Mizo. I am not a cultural fetishist interested in kawaii-sation of northeast culture 🥲. I'm just a language enthusiast. I know English, Malayalam, have learnt Hindi, basic conversational Spanish and can understand and read Tamil. So if you could suggest any resources to learn vocabulary, grammar, some good youtube channels(podcasts or vlog to practice listening), it would be helpful. Thanks in advance :)

Slow moving traffic not more than 10 kmph speed, on a single lane road, around a 3 way turn-about a cretard coming from opposite direction flashing high beam unnecessarily effing my and my kid's eyes.
