Navigating religion as an 18yo in india.

So 18(F) here, I’ve grown up in a mildly religious home (mother is more into it than father). i believed in religion when i was young but when i was 8 i was very scared of ghosts, i would always have trouble sleeping at night, so one day im talking to my father about it and he says ghosts aren’t real then i said if good exists then so does bad, so if god exists then probably ghosts exist as well.. then he looked at me and said who...

Reflection on this week’s trading GBP/USD

So pretty solid week trading this pair. Made £9k and implemented some changes to my overall strategy for better risk mitigation, particularly to this increasingly volatile pair, plus the potential for Trump to post something wild. A couple of key insights; * MACD is the single strongest indicator for this pair * I need to be reviewing all trades at the 5m, 15m, 30m and 1hr time frames. 30 mins seems to be overall most reflective of short term trends * I switched brokers from T212 to IC markets....

    What’s that burning smell?

I know it may sound ridiculous but what exactly is that burning smell in thane? I live in manpada and it smells like burnt wiring. It’s making it hard to breathe. Middle of the night as well. I checked around me and things seem fine.

Where can I read Tamilnadan’s story Jiguba ?

I highly doubt Enthiran plagiarised from just a short story, but it is alarming that Shankar's property are being seized based on a story that is not even available on the internet

We are not Tamil Nadu. We NEED hindi. It's good that we've always adopted the three language policy.

It's always advantageous to know Hindi. Loads of people from Andhra Pradesh study in national institutes, especially IITs and NITs. I have seen Telugu students studying across the country. It's very important you know atleast a little hindi if not completely fluent. Tamil Nadu is a lot more self sufficient than us. I've never seen tamil students studying outside of their state. The ones that do, are mostly from Chennai and know atleast a little hindi. Hundreds and thousands of Andhra people are travelling to Karnataka, kolkata, pune, gurgaon...

Dear gen z and the upcoming generations. Pls…

…do not have the same mindset as boomers and millennials. As a country let’s grow together. Instead of fighting over caste and religion lets fight over a road or pollution or corruption. Ik there r several negative things in our country, but the upcoming generations have the power to change it. Let’s spread the message of love and support. Let’s criticise the govt on the basis of the factors that actually affects our lives. Fight against the injustice together. Keep a work life balance and be efficient with it....
