Restaurants Using Plastic Wrappers for Steaming Hot Idlis I recently noticed something really concerning at a local restaurant. They were steaming hot idlis wrapped in plastic! I’m not sure if they’re doing it to keep the shape intact or for convenience, but it feels so wrong on so many levels. First off, isn’t this unsafe? Plastic and heat don’t mix well — I can’t imagine the chemicals it might release into the food. Secondly, it’s just unnecessary! Hate the fucking challans This city is filled with policemen waiting for somebody to challan. Been living here 3 months and got challaned thrice. I am fed up of driving here.
