kernel_task slows down Mac and I don't know what else to do Dear community, I have a 2015 MacBook Pro that suddenly slows down so tremendously that it is barely usable anymore. Each mouse hover or click can use 15 up to 120 seconds to do anything. The Activity Monitor detects a huge kernel\_task. I closed all other apps, deleted all start-up/login tasks, made sure there are no suspicious plist files in the LaunchAgents file, and also started the laptop in Safety Mode (here it was even slower than before).
