Gotta take a moment and appreciate these Shah guys for always backing such unique films. Gonna quote Jammy "As an audience let's hype talent rather than trolling mediocrity". Not from PR, just a Cinephile who's life is around films. 3 0 replies
VFS "Express Entry" Scam A friend went to VFS Kochi today for a visa appointment. At the gate, a VFS staff member told him to pay ₹3,000 for express entry, claiming it would be done in an hour, while the normal process would take 3-4 hours with slower document uploads. My friend ignored it and went through the regular process. Everything was done in an hour anyway - no delays, no issues. First-time applicants, especially with parents, might fall for this. This isn’t some outsider - it’s happening inside VFS. Don’t pay for... 3 0 replies

A WORLD CUP CLASSIC BY THE LITTLE MASTER “How did a man who is 5′6 or whatever he is hit that through there?” quipped Robin Jackman on air as he saw Yousuf Youhana’s valiant effort off another Sachin’s exquisite cover-drive in deep extra cover go in vain. Let’s rewind back a little to the Innings break: **Venue:** Centurion **Day:** March 1, 2003 World Cup Pakistan had posted quite a daunting score of 274 on the back of Saeed Anwar’s(who else?) masterful 101(He was India’s nightmare, wasn’t he?). About Surat The name probably "Surat" comes from "Suratte". The Suratte name was given by the Dutches. Portuguese, French, British, Persian, Armenian, Dutch and many other groups of people entered India through Surat. Shivaji and Marathas looted Surat twice under Mughal rule. There's also a story about how a sage impressed Surya dev and asked him to live on the holy land upon which the city is built, he refused (because of too much energy), but his family is present in Surat in form of Tapi, Ashwini Kumar, and Rander.
