Can the "before:20xx" parameter in google searches be manipulated to an earlier date with the content being created after the fact? for instance, a page that says it was created in 2019 serving content from 2025?

im just trying to figure out how to remove the AI slop from my search results, but this is obviously the best place to ask i've been using "before:2022" lately but i worry about false positives what are my options and do the false-positives exist? and if so, how does the authority of "page date" in google work?

Amazon Missing Deliveries

Hi. Since last couple of months, observing this serious concern with Amazon deliveries in Pune. Parcels are marked as delivered late in the night and then they never appear at your doorstep. Earlier to meet the deadline, delivery folks would mark it as delivered but atleast deliver the next day.
