What's the point of trees in Noida?

Noida and Greater Noida are undoubtedly among the greenest cities in the NCR, but this greenery seems to have little impact on air quality. In fact, Greater Noida frequently records some of the highest AQI levels in the region. Despite the abundance of neem and banyan trees—known for their air-purifying properties and medicinal benefits—the air quality in Noida feels no better than in Delhi or Gurugram. Given all the science we've learned about trees improving air quality, is this effect actually noticeable in reality?

Just watched "Raincoat" by Rituparno Ghosh

The movie, was a masterpiece truly, I just watched the movie, it was really an artwork in itself, the music, the urdu poetic verse by Gulzar himself, and then overall vibe that the movie gave, the transitions and the contrast everything seemed just so perfectly crafted, I wonder why such bollywood movies stopped coming, the movie "Raincoat" was really underrated despite It's quality being similar to Hollywood masterpieces like Notebook (based on the novel of same name by Nicholas Sparks), A walk to remember (based on the novel of...

Moved Into My Own Place in Mumbai—Feeling Exploited and Drained

35F, shifting into my own rented place in Mumbai, and this entire experience has been an eye-opener on how mean people can be. My previous broker has harassed us over house inspections, nitpicking over things that are in perfect condition. He’s charging us for “repairing” a mattress that doesn’t need fixing and insisting the AC should have been serviced quarterly (when we did it semi-annually). On top of that, when I vacated, I gave the security guards a bag full of clothes, yet they still kept hounding me for...
