I was talking to someone for about two hours, and during our conversation, he asked me which state I was from. When I told him I was from Himachal, he immediately said, “Momo wali, Momo wali.” It was only later that I realized he assumed all himachlis have Mongolian eyes. Anyone have experience with publishing technical books with AIAA? I was recently made aware that AIAA provides publication services of technical textbooks for specialized fields within aerospace. Unlike a conference paper, this service allows for multiple authors that are Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to come together and develop technical guidance on complex and niche engineering topics. Youtube has started recommending very small channels (0-50k subscribers) to me and I hope they never stop For a long time (years) I was just recommended giant channels on Youtube. Youtube would suggest videos I'd already seen over and over again, or exclusively show me youtubers that had maximized their content for the highest possible engagement (meaning tons of clickbait, videos with cuts every other second/constant jokes, loud sounds etc. It is totally fine to enjoy these things, but they just haven't been my cup of tea).
