Do Girls Get Harassed This Often, or Is My Workplace Just That Toxic?

Tldr: I Helped a Co-Worker Stand Up for Herself Today Read full: For some context, I started an onsite project at a factory, but since I mostly work from home, I'm not used to the workplace dynamics there The Key People in This Situation: 1. Owner (A) - He's a flirt and has had affairs with multiple women who worked there. However, he understands consent and doesn't force himself on anyone 2. His Son-in-Law (B) - Initially, he seemed fine, but he wants to be like his father-in-law and...

Lion Capital of Sarnath. Buddha was called Shakya Simha(Shakya lion), the 4 lions represent roar of his Dhamma in all directions, as Ashoka envisaged. Standing 7 ft tall, it used to have a chakra on top and was mounted on a 40ft pillar.

    Multiversal speculation

And who will search through the wide infinities of space to count the universes side by side, each containing its Brahma, its Vishnu, its Shiva? Who can count the Indras in them all--those Indras side by side, who reign at once in all the innumerable worlds; those others who passed away before them; or even the Indras who succeed each other in any given line, ascending to godly kingship, one by one, and, one by one, passing away. — Brahma Vaivarta Purana There are many other large worlds, rolling through...

It's heartbreaking to see dead stray puppies

I recently moved back to Nagpur and was surprised to see the strays here are not sterilized (never paid attention to streeties a decade ago when I was here before). I wondered but didn't bother much until now. The service road beside the Narendra Nagar flyover is not only busy + congested but there is also an open land beside it. A couple of times in the last few days I saw dead puppies in this empty area beside the footpath. I wondered where they came from. Until yesterday...

Anyone familiar with the tech scene in Tampa / st Pete / Clearwater...I will not promote

I am interested in moving my family and remote startup down to the Tampa area. I never realized how big it is down there. Does anyone have advice on networks and Co working that I should be near in order to break into the community? I want to live near the ocean but everything I'm seeing is kinda far from down town. Is it easier to just move downtown or are there any regular networking events out between st Pete /clearwater?

Low ranking home page compared to rest of site.

My site is decades old now, but recently noticed something I am not sure about… In 2018, my home page ranked for about 400 phrases. Today it is only 3. My overall site has about 2,000 phrases in the top 100 - but it had been around 7,000 in that 2018. I just am curious why my home page would have so few compared to sub-pages. The site has high 90s CWV. It just seems strange and competitor home pages have many more phrases. Any thoughts on what to...

    Doesn’t Chennai Deserve Uber Black?

Recently I was in Delhi for a few days. All Delhi slander apart, I had an option to book Uber Black, which unlike just another WagonR or Swift was usually some Urban Crusier,Nexon or Seltos. You have a preference while booking to choose a bunch of things like : Conversation preference, Preferred temperature etc. The price difference between the normal one and this was like 20-30%. So why’d y’all think we don’t have this in Chennai?
