Am i responsible for paying for an electricity meter repair as a tenant I’m a tenant in an apartment where the electricity meters are kept in a common meter room, which I don’t have access to. Recently, my meter wasn’t showing a reading, so it had to be repaired. From what I understand, meter maintenance is usually the landlord’s or the electricity provider’s responsibility, unless the tenant caused the damage (which I obviously didn’t).
