Champions Trophy is the most useless trophy. England hosted 2013 and then 2017 back to back, people were complaining, but the fact is other boards didn't want to host. India, the place where anything hosted is money, didn't want to host it. It's not that important, and it doesn't make as much money. Now that ODI's are barely played maybe it attracts some older fans, or fans of the format, but overall it's the least meaningful. Pakistan was given the trophy no one else had much interest hosting, and they went hell over high water trying to hold on to it. Champions trophy should always be given to associate nations, or nations where cricket isn't played as much, the original purpose of the trophy was to grow cricket. This tournament should have happened in Nepal.

I personaly like CT, because I love ODI's. I like the format more than T20s and want them to continue, but a tournament which was forgotten about for 8 years, and we just reaized one month ago that this exists, isn't that important.
