ask for a tour of the school with your child
school culture (what values they teach as a school)
teaching pattern
timings for school
transportation availability ect
i suggest you dont take navrachna as ive heard the culture is very bad like the children smoke and vape and stuff..

You can give an argument saying we are encouraging our Indian languages to learn but tbh it doesn’t make sense. Either the language I want to learn as a third language, should be of a student / school choice collectively, which benefits everyone rather putting up only Indian languages, where apart from Hindi, I don’t think learning any other language at the age of 10 would benefit in the future apart from mother tongue and English. Moreover, a language learning is different and you need to practice it more to gain the knowledge completely.. If not definitely u will lose the touch..

I learnt German till A2 level but my speaking prowess is definitely in the range of B1-B2 since I worked in a part time job where I need to speak in German completely.. That’s how u improve your speaking skills. It need not be perfect but definitely gives you the ability to survive..

With that said, all the ministers who have their own school, can always opt this two language policy they want and set an example instead of fooling the people and setting a double standard behaviour. If they do it, probably central would definitely try to change the policies..

I think people here tend to resist change. We are comfortable following what we believe is right without questioning it. Unfortunately, we are trained from an early age in school to think in only one way.

Idk what happened to this sub after election results. People are targeting the new government from the next day of results.

But this is how democracy works in India. Most of the people(including people who follow this sub) have elected BJP. So even if you like it or not, it doesn’t matter. Moreover give some time to the government and then start questioning on what did they do to the people. I am not saying that you shouldn’t question the government. But atleast give some time for them to understand what previous government did and how to proceed with that.
