Both of my parents are government teachers, teaching in nearby government schools some 10km away from home.

Both of them wake up at 5 AM to leave at 7 AM for school but let me tell you their routine when we (their kids) were in school.

1- Ma would shower and then go in the kitchen to make breakfast and tiffin for 4 people, she would make like 7-8 roti for tiffin and make butter toast/toast bread with milk for breakfast for us kids. They would eat roti sabzi for their breakfast. My father meanwhile helped 0 in the kitchen.

2-She would dress us up in our school uniform, comb our hair, make sure we have all the books and necessities and send us to school. My father again helped 0 here. Also she did the cleaning of the house too for few years before hiring a maid.

3- In the afternoon they would come from school and mom would get into kitchen to make Lunch at 2 PM. Father's help? 0.

4- She would make tea in the evening or some snacks, and wash the utensils and then start preparing for dinner while making sure me and my brother are studying.

My father in evening? Would go out once a week to bring groceries, sometimes he would go to pharmacy to bring meds. He did care for us but he didn't actively helped in the household work.

My mom who earns 6 figures salary used to come back to unpaid labour after paid labour. So this needs to change.

I'm just sharing this with you OP, that would too help in household budget. Most of the women in town have shops, or parlours or sell groceries, they are helping too, but women don't complain all the time that we are not getting warm food on the table.
Get out of social media and actually go into the real world and you'll realise that Mrs. Movie is very relevant even today.
