Should have filed a police report. Also get a copy of the truck driver's insurance copy and driver's license. Then claim repairs via truck's thrid party insurance. Isn't this the procedure? But then we don't have time parking the car in workshop for weeks/months while insurance process gets processed. ₹6K is something better than nothing.
