Existential crisis!
I follow basic stoic principles. And practice stoicism has helped me through a lot. It's all about the perspective and you have total control over everything you feel. So basically yeah my suggestion is read some basic stoic principles and if you really want to get into it Marcus Aurelius's "Meditations" is a great starting book I recommend. -
Chennai's Dying Infrastructure apart from Metro. Has there been any development in your place in the last 10 years?
How do you expect them to develop infrastructure when all the money we give them in the name of tax is spent on freebies, bribes, scams?
I'm still facing the problems I faced 15-20 years back. Bad roads with potholes, garbage littering in streets, pollution everywhere.
It doesn't matter who comes to power. DMK, ADMK, BJP, TVK etc. The end result will be the same.
Leave. Go to any country that will take you in. If you're planning to have a family in the future, just leave. India's economy is like elephant on top of the tree, it'll fall in the future at anytime. -

While it may not be historically fully accurate but I just loved the visuals of this film. The songs were beautiful and I've never find Kareena more prettier than in this film.
Too long and focused more on the romantic angle than his rise and fall. Banger album though. -
Instead of trying too hard to select panel members based on fame or trends, Samay should focus on bringing in genuinely good comics and people, even if they are not big celebrities or currently trending. Additionally, more attention should be given to the contestants.
It's called latent and not talent . Please understand that first -

The best thing Yuzi can do is to tell the Internet Mob to leave Dhana alone
OMG. Dhanashree. Brace yourself. R*ndi, gold digger, allimony beggar comments incoming. -
The best thing Yuzi can do is to tell the Internet Mob to leave Dhana alone
I don't think Yuzi will be doing that because it looks like Dhanashree only used their relationship for fame and to climb up the ladder in the entertainment industry.
She got involved with Yuzi when he was at the top of his career, he was getting fame, recognition and a lot of money at that time. What followed after that was many memes of Yuzi with people speaking shit about his appearance and many more things. Dhana was also trolled for marrying only for money but the joke was mostly on Yuzi for getting someone so beautiful without having that good outer appearance or physique.
Dhana milked her marriage like anything by actively posting pictures and videos with big cricketers to gain social media followers. She got chance to make reels with players like Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler and many more while also choreographing the likes of Virat kohli, AB de Villiers and other RCB players for a RCB song.
Yuzi has his family home in Gurugram but then I guess he had to move to Mumbai because of Dhana as she did songs with Neha Kakkar, and some Punjabi artists as well. Then, she did Jhalah dikhlaja where again Yuzi was used as a bait to promote the show and for her vote appeal. She is now doing movies down in South.
So, after reaping all the benefits from his stardom, becoming an Instagram star, doing music videos, dance shows and movies purely because people acknowledged her as Yuzi's wife, she can't cry about the trolling part which will come post divorce.
There will be trolling for her for possibly leaving Yuzi after getting fame and stuff and Yuzi is not obliged to do any favors to her by coming in her support. In their case, he seems to be one who is wronged and when she took all the pros of being a cricketer's wife, she needs to deal with the cons as well. -

Hasee toh Phasee
Problem with this movie (even when it had released) was - It was marketed as a Rom-Com. But when the audiences went to watch it... they saw an eccentric girl and a normal guy tagging along with her. Audiences couldn't find the connection points between these two characters which would make them fall in love(and audiences needed to fall in love with their love). Overall, the movie is confused about where it wants to go with the relationship of these two. It has good standout moments and a terrific scene between Manoj Joshi and Parineeti in the Climax. But all these things don't connect smoothly to create a cohesive emotional impact or at least what the marketing of this movie had promised to the audience. -
Will my generation from the middle class never be able to buy a house in Chennai?
I completely get your frustrations. As a person who recently bought a house in Chennai I can imagine how much pain it is to go and buy one.
Even if you buy the problem doesn't end there. Home loan takes till the last drop of your blood (one has to become like prabhu in budget padmanabhan movie). You will think 100 times before buying a shirt for 300 ₹ extra. Saving every penny and trying to repay the emi. Even after paying lacs, interest never comes down.
If you calculate rent to ownership ratio, which is called rental yield it is hardly 2% in chennai. But the interest rate in banks is 8.5%+. So you are better off finding a good society or house in a good area and paying extra rent than paying an exorbitant sum of money for just interest alone. This should help the problem of handling these electrical and plumbing issues which are common in small houses.
This situation I said is for flats, I am not even going into buying land and building. That is a long gone discussion friend.
I am not sure about your salary or incomes. Please invest in safe assets which will give good returns- 12-14%. In 15-20yrs hopefully that corpus would have grown bigger than the real estate appreciation. Then buy a house that you like.
Please please don't make the same mistake as me of buying a house in your early 30s and ending up in a never ending loan and interest loop. It will affect not only you but your kids also.
Rule of thumb: atleast be in a situation to mop up 40% of money as down payment and emi should be less than 30% of your salary. Then ofcourse you should buy a house. -
