You can easily start with on-page SEO, don't need to hire any people. Update meta tags, optimize images with alt texts, and ensure your content is relevant and high-quality.

Consider automation tools. I used SEOJuice to handle on-page optimizations. (there might be alternatives). It really does save a lot of time, and you dont have to pay someone XX per hour.

To summarize:
1. Start anywhere you feel comfortable, 1% better each day — meta tags, H1-H5s, Structure data etc.
2. Do it step by step, google will take time to change how it sees you, so doesn't really matter if you do it fast or slow, do it at your own pace.
