How many clients do you already have? Growing something that 10 clients want to 50+ is a completely different thing from finding the first client and realising that your business model just doesn't work.
Also, can you derisk this by pushing out the decision? E.g. if you can wait a month to take the investment or the job, then you can use the month to see if the business is significantly further ahead and use that to make the decision.

Here is another perspective for you.

When we talk about 'progressive' or feminist values, what it actually accounts to is women having the agency to make life choices they want and not being forced into it.

When you said that you wanted to be a SAHM, that's you using your agency to make a choice - Your family being surprised and telling you to continue working because that's their perceived normal is NOT progressive. They are still telling you to do something you don't want to, invalidating your agency to choose and forcing you into a position they find right for you.

This is no different from a mother forcing their daughter to get married because she finds that as a right choice than pursuing education.

Looks like you had no real world experience in your proclaimed 'progressive' bubble to understand what it actually means.
