Honestly this is beyond normal. When I recently went to collect my car from service I noticed them working on a test drive Seltos with several dents on the side. When asked they told me it occurred during test drive.

Why they’d go to this extent for something so small and potentially lose a customer and their reputation is beyond me. Usually they’d get it fixed in house and you’d wouldn’t have to pay. Even if you had to it would be a very small amount.

Talk to the showroom owner, or upper management at the showroom. Either the guy is desperate because he’s facing pressure from the top or he’s just trying to make a quick buck.

If he comes back next time make a video and tell him he’s trespassing and file a police complaint for harassment.

A tyre replacement at dealership level would hardly cost them 3-4k.
