As to why they refused to hire more doctors, to quote the article:

Depends alot on age too. I am 6.1, was quite skinny till age 25, but after that, fats started filling in over all the body. Also corrected my diet, joined gym. Pretty good for now. 85kg, not skinny, not fat. Give yourself time and effort.

The biggest change I’ve seen is going from two week sprints to having each team tackle one problem at a time (sometimes two or three simultaneously if one person was finishing the last task and another was fixing a bug).

At that particular startup the PMs were previously spending all their time preparing work that would be designed and then sit in the backlog forever. UX would spend their time designing things that were never built. QA spent a lot of time going through long manual processes instead of setting up automated tests (actually this never changed though). Devs were given 6-8 weeks of work per sprint and constantly deliver less than two weeks’ worth of work. Marketing and sales used the backlog as a feature list, and because it was so large, customers weren’t renewing.
